This rectified the whine / grinding and fixed sloppy transmission issue. Bad heater blower motor Could not fix transmission shudder, wheel imbalance, and alignment problems despite repeated attempts, car bought back by dealer. Steering wheel squeal never fixed.

I will either go all the way around the window with RTV or have it replaced. Then wait.
