2014 Dodge Durango Review Official TrueDelta review by Michael Karesh The new-for-2014 eight-speed automatic does its best to wring competitive fuel economy out of the 3.6-liter V6, but the Durango AWD's curb weight, at 5,000 pounds about 600 more than the Pathfinder's, poses an apparently insurmountable handicap. The 2014 Dodge's EPA ratings of 17 mpg city, 24 mpg highway are... Comparison vehicle: 2013 Nissan Pathfinder |
Not as impressed as I wanted to be 2013 Nissan Pathfinder Pros and Cons Member4304 With 10,000 miles on the car, we have averaged overall 21.3 mpg, according to the trip computer. Our average speed is 35 mph. Most of our driving is in town and it still seems to get great mileage for such a large car. |

2013 Hyundai Santa Fe Limited Review Official TrueDelta review by Michael Karesh If I was comparing the 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe to any competitor other than the Nissan Pathfinder, fuel economy would have been among the pros. Compared to the Veracruz, Hyundai downsized the V6 engine (from a 260-horsepower 3.8-liter to a 290-horsepower 3.3-liter) and removed a substantial 320 pounds of curb... 2013 Nissan Pathfinder Platinum 4WD Review Official TrueDelta review by Michael Karesh Among those zigs, Nissan placed a big bet on continuously variable transmissions (CVTs). Many people don't like how CVT-based powertrains sound and feel (which is a bit much like a slipping conventional transmission). But CVTs can hold an engine at a set, optimal rpm, either low for economy or high... Comparison vehicle: 2013 GMC Acadia |

Best Pathfinder yet !! 2013 Nissan Pathfinder Pros and Cons A member in Texas, United States My first trip consisted of mostly highway driving in Texas. Speeds varied from 60 to 75 mph on the highway with very little in-town driving. Overall average was around 23.7 mpg (Calculated) which agreed very closely with the on-board computer. I am hoping that the mpg will... |

2002 Nissan Pathfinder Pros and Cons Member5582 What can you say--it's powerful, heavy and not very efficient by todays standards. Still given my current millage of 10,000 Km/year, it's not a good enough reason to trade the vehicle. |

2008 Nissan Pathfinder Pros and Cons Member2322 The fun of a V8 in a 5k+ lb vehicle had its penalties. Admittedly heavy on the gas, I averaged 13mpg in town and was lucky if I obtained 18mpg on long trips cruising at a steady 75mph. Manual said Premium fuel was recommended but regular worked fine. |

2003 Nissan Pathfinder Pros and Cons Member3370 13-14 mpg is real in city conditions because of 4 speed auto. |

2008 Nissan Pathfinder Pros and Cons A member in Pennsylvania, United States When compared to the other engines in its class the truck has less than average fuel economy. but with 266 horsepower and 6000lb towing that is to be expected. |

2002 Nissan Pathfinder Pros and Cons Member2366 Compared to more fuel efficient SUVs, it is rather low. But is OK for what it is. |

2003 Nissan Pathfinder Pros and Cons Member1885 16MPG city, 19-20 MPG highway leaves much to be desired. Changing the spark plugs every 100,000km (well ahead of the suggested interval) makes a large difference, but economy is still lacking. |
