The rear section - about 18" - of both rocker panels were rusted through. The rusty material was removed with a grinder. The inner part of the rockers was cleaned with a wire wheel as best as possible. Rust converter was sprayed inside the rocker panel. Aluminium patches were formed to the correct shape and put in place and then fibre glass was put over the patches. Filler and glaze were used to smooth out the repaired area and then it was painted with colour match paint. |
