2007 Mercury Mariner Pros and Cons Member4737 The seats have plush cushioning, lumbar control and position control. The seats are leather/vinyl (I think leather, but not sure) with center punched suede allowing some air circulation. All good for greater comfort on long trips |

2009 Mercury Mariner Pros and Cons Member4080 Coming from a Trailblazer, we like the average of 21-22 MPG in mixed driving, as were used to about 17 MPG. Fuel economy climbs toward the rated 26 MPG the more highway driving we do. |

2005 Mercury Mariner Pros and Cons A member in Idaho, United States The exterior is very SUV but has many nice touches with the silver/chrome waterfall grill and tail-lights in brushed/chrome silver. Many small touches. It is the best looking of the Mariner/Escape/Tribute family. Much more upscale looking. |
2008 Mercury Mariner Pros and Cons Member2401 We needed a small SUV and the Mariner or Escort seemed to be one of the best, and it was the only true hybrid of any of the small SUVs. |
