2016 Kia Sorento Review Official TrueDelta review by Michael Karesh Fuel economy isn't outstanding with any of the 2016 Kia Sorento's powertrain options. The base four with front-wheel drive earns the highest marks, but its 21 mph city, 29 mpg highway are well short of the latest compact crossovers. Add all-wheel drive and even the base engine's highway figure falls... Comparison vehicle: 2015 Hyundai Santa Fe |

2013 Kia Sorento Pros and Cons Member5857 I average about 22-25 miles/gallon, but only if I use a fuel addative every 5,000 miles. If not I get at best about 21miles/gallon. |
Great car not so great gas mileage 2012 Kia Sorento Pros and Cons A member in Virginia, United States Horrible fuel especially in stop and go traffic. I drive approximately 30 miles per day and within a week the take is nearly empty. |

2011 Kia Sorento Pros and Cons Member5146 Always want more MPG but it is at least 25% better than my 2006 Ford Explorer. After 15K miles of highway, city and occasionally pulling a 5'x10' trailer, I'm averaging exactly 20.9 MPG. |

2011 Kia Sorento Pros and Cons A member in Alberta, Canada For a rather large crossover the fuel economy is absolutely amazing, check it out, it speaks for itself, and in the frist month we are getting exactly the rated efficiency, very pleased. |

2005 Kia Sorento Pros and Cons Member3038 Not great but we knew that going in. I try to drive as economically as possible and can usually squeeze 18-19 mpg in mixed driving (70%/30% split between highway and local). |

2011 Kia Sorento Pros and Cons A member in Texas, United States I average 22 mpg in mosty city driving. Not bad for its size and weight. |
|
2011 Kia Sorento Pros and Cons fbucheit The window sticker said it would get 29 mpg on the highway. I did a 500 mile trip and averaged 25 mpg. On my last 5 vehicles I averaged 2 to 3 mpg more than the window sticker when on the highway. Something is wrong with this picture. |

2008 Kia Sorento Pros and Cons Member3684 Not been brave enough to calculate fuel economy yet, but my Audi A6 1.9tdi used to return 33mpg whilst towing. I doubt the Sorento will get near that even solo! |
