Further investigation of previous noises. Claimed they modified clips on heater box pipes. Picked up car after two days but problem was still there and a new deep resonance at 2000 revs had been introduced. All work on warranty so far.

Needs coolant light went on and seized before we could get it off the highway. NEVER buy one of these pieces of crap. There executives are a bunch of liars. Their mission statement says "good enough, just isn't good enough" Try to get them to be responsible for any of their failures and you will see what a completely fraudulent statement that is. Buy a jaguar and you are completely at risk of owing money on a car that you will never be able to drive again. That's my exact experience. I've heard people say never buy Jaguar. If you want to find out for yourself, spend $90K on one of their vehicles and see if it can last. I had a 100 warranty on it and it didn't last 90K. Unfortunately the years were expired 5 months before the complete failure of this car. The USA should not allow such fraudsters to import their scrapheaps into this country. Bad bushings. Apparently under engineered for the weight of the car. read the other entry of mine. $90K car cant outlast a Geo. DONT BUY JAGUAR

Tech found the wiper linkage had been bent, replaced motor, linkage, and wiper arm. Both rear lower control arm bushings were seized and sway bar links replaced. Rattle was heard from the back end. Alignment was required, was not going to be covered until I mentioned that the selling dealership had screwed up alignment 2x Smell noted (burnt friction material) from back end. Steering vibration/shimmy. Dealer finally realized the car's had a bent rim ever since delivery. This time the steering seems to be fixed. I won't hold my breath though. Turn signal wouldn't catch and cancel until steering wheel back to center: turning right 100% of time, and 50% of time turning left. Excessive wind noise from both front drivers side and passenger side windows. They tested and said it was normal, but compared to the audi a4 we have, it is much louder. Passenger headrest countinued to squeak louder and louder until it was finally unbearable. It seems to be fixed now. Drivers side, rear passenger door had a squeak. They tried but did not fix it. All satellite radio pre-sets reset to default station (which is weather) periodically. Jaguar knows of the issue but cannot fix it. Auto headlights turn on randomly in full daylight. No clouds, over-passes, trees or other overhead obstructions for miles. Dealer could not fix this issue.

Car manual states that it does. Jaguar has been unable to answer what files it will play. IPod discharges overnight when using ipod interface. Sunroof noisy at speeds over 70mph. i can do slight tilt to remove noise. took to shop and they didn't even touch. will be taking back when they repair splits in sheet metal shop "updated software" without my knowledge. went out last night and parking lights were on. car had been parked over 5 hours and light selector in "auto"

Dec 2008 620 mi	On cold start, brake pedal locks half depressed, mechanical clunk from engine front right hand side, possible abs related. after 30m this happens once, then never again while car is warm.
May 2009 5580 mi	brake assist fault light came on during driving but could not be replicated in workshop. update: more recently diagnosed as a normal function of the bosch abs system when the petrol v6 is cold, and are not a fault
Jun 2009 6200 mi	very noisy dash rattle, repaired after 2.5 days in workshop
Feb 2011 20460 mi	rear camera failed, needed new harness. sold before parts came in new owner fixed under warranty
