At the time I needed a car, I don't really think the car is good looking. the front is OK, but the rear end is ugly. Still I've gotten used to it.
The interior is fine. I like it, plain, everything is right at hand, it's comfortable.
It works fine. The 4 cyl is enough power, I fear the transmission has ruined me for other cars. It's a great shifting gearbox. I don't care for front wheel drive, but in my price range and wanting reliability this was it.
Pretty good over all, I've gotten as much as 35-36 MGP on a long highway trip, 29 - 31 around outer suburbia where I commute.
It handles pretty good for having so much weight over the front end. When I push it the release is controlled and pretty neutral considering the weight on the front end.
Big A pillars block it some what, but it seems they all have that these days. The driving position is good, the steering wheel extends and moves around, the seat has lots of adjustment, how could it not be? Plus the gear shift falls easily to hand. the controls seem well placed and well thought out for the most part.
It does go through brakes a bit, 3 sets of rotors and pads in 150,000.
