Started getting very poor gas mileage, hesitation, rough idle, severe engine shaking. No Check Engine Light. But scan with Actron shows code of P1159 Variable Induction System. I have had this code before in the past and had to remove the intake to clean it. This time I have tried 2 times using a 3M Fuel System Cleaning kit. The vehicle is running much better now but occasionally set the code still. If it does not clear up soon I will pull the intake and clean. While its off I will replace the spark plugs a second time. |
