Pros and Cons of the 2010 BMW 3-Series

Why the BMW 3-Series?

Handling: Stiff, sporty, comfortable, hugs the road - what makes a BMW a BMW

Safety & braking: BMW reputation for safety and good braking, not touchy/soft

Dealership practices: Have an amazing mechanic at my dealership; also got a fair price without any fishy practice

Past personal experience: Owned 3 series for 10 years before this purchase - loved my E46

Warranty, scheduled maintenance cost: Four years of maintenance included

Why Not the BMW 3-Series?

Interior styling: Dashboard very flat and unappealing (vs E46)

Powertrain performance: Automatic transmission has 'lag' when accelerating from zero

Audio & nav systems: Audio not a great system compared to Harmon Kardon, nav system not intuitive like a Garmin or Tom Tom
