Pros and Cons of the 2006 Toyota Corolla

Why the Toyota Corolla?

Color choices: After driving around for months, seeing how well different colors age on cars, i knew i wanted a dark grey car.

Fuel economy: The Corolla has nearly identical fuel economy of the smaller Echo/Yaris

Feature availability: This was my first car with an air conditioner; i really wanted one, and i use it all the time.

Materials & workmanship: The interior has a quality sturdy feel, with no loose or hollow plastic moldings that i've seen on other cars.

Brand reputation & image: Toyota well known for quality and reliability

Why Not the Toyota Corolla?

Front seat room: At 6'2" there is no leftover room, even with the driver's seat all the way back.

Audio & nav systems: The sound system had no capability to handle USB storage, or an MP3 player. Had to install aftermarket stereo.

Driving position & visibility: The rear pillars make it very difficult to see while reversing.
