Grey cloth bucket seats are nothing special, but expected for the price paid. Center console is easy to use. I have owned this car four years and had only one problem, the DELCO battery (ugh) went out last year. A member from Georgia, United States Best Reason to Buy the Toyota Corolla: Handling Capable factory anti sway bars front and back, appropriate tires and wheel size and good shocks make handling at speed and on twisties quite enjoyable. Car feels well-balanced for a FF layout, and torque steer is manageable with only ~160BHP. Best Reason Not to Buy the Toyota Corolla: Fuel economy The gearing which keeps the engine in its power band keeps it at 4k RPM on the highway (I go fast). 30MPG on premium fuel is not justified by the modest increase in power. Exhibits a LOT of bump steer. A member from Massachusetts, United States Best Reason to Buy the Toyota Corolla: Reliability & durability In the 64k miles I have owned this car, all that I have put into it aside from routine oil and filter changes, is a set of tires, brake pads, and a serpentine belt. Best Reason Not to Buy the Toyota Corolla: Dealership practices Toyota dealerships commonly try to sell you plans and services you do not need, especially in the service department. When the car has a mere 30k miles, the dealerhsip tried to sell me a service that called for new spark plugs. This is not needed at 30k. Surprizingly zippy and decent pick up for a small 1.8L motor. Best Reason Not to Buy the Toyota Corolla: Color choices Some of the colors are a bit toned down like the red and blue colors.
