What Our Members Are Saying about the Price of the the Toyota Camry
| Price of the Toyota Camry: Pros | ||
| Year | Body/Powertrain | Comment |
| 2010 | 4dr Sedan 169-horsepower 2.5L I4 6-speed shiftable automatic FWD | It was lease takeover. $149mo. for 11 months with a $13.3 buyout/resell |
| 2009 | 4dr Sedan 158-horsepower 2.4L I4 5-speed automatic FWD | One of the biggest reasons for buying the Camry is that Toyota offers a disability reinbursment where they will pay for adaptive equipment added to the car. Now my wife will be able to drive. The Altima did not offer this. |
| 2007 | 4dr Sedan 268-horsepower 3.5L V6 6-speed shiftable automatic FWD | The 2007 Camry SE V6 is a great compromise between luxury, performance and affordability. |
| 2002 | 4dr Sedan 157-horsepower 2.4L I4 4-speed automatic FWD | This car was a Hertz rental car. It was a very good price with a good warranty. |

| 2011 | 4dr Sedan 268-horsepower 3.5L V6 6-speed shiftable automatic FWD | Why pay more for less????? |
| 2009 | 4dr Sedan 158-horsepower 2.4L I4 5-speed automatic FWD | If I have to get same features on Camry (which I got on accord), I have to spend above 30k + APR also will be high. |
| 2008 | 4dr Sedan 158-horsepower 2.4L I4 5-speed automatic FWD | Expensive |
| 2007 | 4dr Sedan 268-horsepower 3.5L V6 6-speed shiftable automatic FWD | Dealer was not willing to deal oter than cursory reductions. DId not want to "Open Book" pricing and discounts, tried to hide them in "lease" payments |
| 2007 | 4dr Sedan 158-horsepower 2.4L I4 5-speed automatic FWD | Price too high and dealer would not deal. |
| 2007 | 4dr Sedan 187-horsepower 2.4L I4 Hybrid CVT FWD | Too expensive a premium for hybrid. They come stripped or loaded (mostly loaded) with nothing in between. |
| 2007 | 4dr Sedan 158-horsepower 2.4L I4 5-speed automatic FWD | I was able to get a much better deal on the Accord. |
| 2007 | 4dr Sedan 187-horsepower 2.4L I4 Hybrid CVT FWD | ~$30,000 |
| 2007 | 4dr Sedan 268-horsepower 3.5L V6 6-speed shiftable automatic FWD | Dealership would not negotiate. |
| 2006 | 4dr Sedan 190-horsepower 3.0L V6 5-speed automatic FWD | higher price for less features |
| 2002 | 4dr Sedan 192-horsepower 3.0L V6 4-speed automatic FWD | The price is higher than comparable models and my payments were over $500 a month on a 60 month loan. |

What Our Members Are Saying about Toyota Camry Materials and Workmanship
| Available Features of the Toyota Camry: Pros | ||
| Year | Body/Powertrain | Comment |
| 2012 | 4dr Sedan 156-horsepower 2.5L I4 Hybrid CVT FWD |
The interior materials are much higher quality than the Camry. The Camry felt very cheap, not like a car that costs over $30k. The Fusion felt like a more expensive BMW or Audi with the interior quality. There were no large gaps or uneven edges between materials. The exterior build quality is also better in the Fusion. The doors close smoothly and without being too heavy or too light. The hood fits very tightly with the frame. The trunk closes easily but without slamming. And, best of all, the trunk includes a little handle for closing so that you don't have to grab the exterior of trunk but can just close it with that handle. Just like my Saab does!! |
| 2009 | 4dr Sedan 158-horsepower 2.4L I4 5-speed automatic FWD |
no loose ends, everything fits right and stays in place |
| 2007 | 4dr Sedan 187-horsepower 2.4L I4 Hybrid CVT FWD |
This car has had zero problems. Superior to every other Camry year and make out there. |
| 2007 | 4dr Sedan 158-horsepower 2.4L I4 5-speed automatic FWD |
All materials appear to be good quality and well put together |
| 2007 | 4dr Sedan 268-horsepower 3.5L V6 6-speed shiftable automatic FWD |
I met an owner who had 350,000 miles, and the car still looked good. In 19,000 miles we have no problem, other than the squeaky brake pads, which were replaced. |
| 2007 | 4dr Sedan 158-horsepower 2.4L I4 5-speed automatic FWD |
Fit and finish are consistent. |

| 2010 | 4dr Sedan 169-horsepower 2.5L I4 6-speed shiftable automatic FWD |
Cheap! plastic everywhere, front seats are brutal and the seat covering is cheap.Paint is thin. |
| 2007 | 4dr Sedan 158-horsepower 2.4L I4 5-speed automatic FWD |
Soundproofing was poor, there was a cheap feel about the bodywork, fittings were cheap looking even for a rental |
| 2007 | 4dr Sedan 187-horsepower 2.4L I4 Hybrid CVT FWD |
Paint is very easily chipped and scraped |
| 2005 | 4dr Sedan 157-horsepower 2.4L I4 5-speed automatic FWD |
The cloth on the headliner on the rear window is coming loose. In contacting a body shop that I am familiar with, this is a common problem. |
| 2002 | 4dr Sedan 157-horsepower 2.4L I4 4-speed automatic FWD |
Terrible paint that chips and scratches very easily. Interior panels are not held together very well. |
| 2002 | 4dr Sedan 157-horsepower 2.4L I4 4-speed automatic FWD |
Cheap, econobox feel, hard seats |

| 2009 | 4dr Sedan 306-horsepower 3.5L V6 6-speed shiftable automatic RWD |
It's a Lexus and the interior finishes are nice for this price point. |
| 2008 | 4dr Sedan 204-horsepower 2.5L V6 6-speed shiftable automatic AWD |
The IS250 all wheel drive has been flawless in 6100 miles (to date) in fit and finish. |
| 2008 | 4dr Sedan 306-horsepower 3.5L V6 6-speed shiftable automatic RWD |
Car feels very well put together. No rattles or squeaks. Gaps around the hood and doors are even and small. |
| 2007 | 4dr Sedan 204-horsepower 2.5L V6 6-speed shiftable automatic AWD |
The doors close like a refrigerator, seriously. |
| 2007 | 4dr Sedan 204-horsepower 2.5L V6 6-speed shiftable automatic RWD |
The car was well build and had not problems during the 15 months that we owned it. |
| 2007 | 4dr Sedan 306-horsepower 3.5L V6 6-speed shiftable automatic RWD |
Smooth ride, no problems so far, liking it more the longer I own it. |
| 2005 | 4dr Sedan 215-horsepower 3.0L I6 5-speed shiftable automatic RWD |
Excellent interrior craftsmanship, leather is comfortable and sturdy; knobs/features are solid and not junky. |
| 2002 | 4dr Sedan 215-horsepower 3.0L I6 5-speed shiftable automatic RWD |
Lexus, need I say more? Feels like a much more expensive vehicle. |
| 2002 | 4dr Wagon 215-horsepower 3.0L I6 5-speed shiftable automatic RWD |
No rattles! Doors solid and heavy. Gearshift lever has satisfying snick. Germanic feeling buttons and switches for a Japanese car. Good quality paint, wheels, etc. No steering, suspension or driveline wear is noticeable to date. |

| 2010 | 4dr Sedan 204-horsepower 2.5L V6 6-speed shiftable automatic AWD |
This is the Achilles heel to Lexus. The 2009 RX 350 and now our 2010 IS 250 both have lousy build and workmanship. Cheap, pieces falling off, cheesy interior. Very inferior to many other vehicles in same league. Last several years quality has cratered |
| 2007 | 4dr Sedan 204-horsepower 2.5L V6 6-speed shiftable automatic RWD |
The leather was not as soft as in our previos Lexus. There is no wood trim. It is simply not as refined as Lexus is with most of their vehicles. |
