Mar 2009 1000 0 The floor heating vents are undersized for the Subaru. On cold days (I live in Wisconsin), the cabin can be warm but my feet and legs are cold. I was told that the low air flow from the floor vents is due to the design. The floor does warm up eventually.

Jun 2009 18000 0 A piece of paint bubbled up and chipped off the left side protective door trim molding (not from being hit or from a rock, etc.). The strip was replaced under manuf. warranty.
Feb 2010 33000 0 Noticed "bouncing" & loud "squeaking" noises when going over even small bumps. Inner tie rod needed to be replaced. Helped somewhat but another trip was needed as similar problem existed or returned; reported as a separate trip (stabilizer bar +). Car continued to "bounce" when going over bumps & a squeak or strained noise occurred at same time. The manuf. replaced "stablizer lk f, rub bush stab, both stablizier bar busings/brackets/link R & R." Not sure what to check above. Car would not turn over or start one morning. Later, was able to start after several attempts. Manuf. couldn't find anything wrong & so far, problem has not recurred.
