Our other car, with a turbocharged engine alos, does not have any evidence of soot at the tail pipe. Greasy build-up on front right strut. (driver's side strut failed and leaked when car was ~2 months old). Dealer states there is no leak even though this is the 2nd greasy build-up. I cleaned off the 1st one to see if it recurred After driving ~ 15-20 minutes to get to interstate, exhaust smokes so you can't see out the rearview mirror accelerating onto the freeway in cold weather. Dealer says this is normal. Car hesitates or misses, occaisionally when driving 35-40 mph in 3rd gear, cruise on or not. They reflashed the engine contol module. It helped decrease the frequency, but did not eliminate the problem.

Dealer says they don't know what's wrong after their repair failed after two hours of departing the dealership. Driver's door vinyl trim has a defect which the dealer refuses to repair under the warranty. This was reported last July, but they ignored it then also.
