2007 4dr Sedan turbocharged 260hp 2.3L I4
5-speed shiftable automatic FWD
Fuel economy is outstanding for such a fast car. At a steady 100 km/h speed, I can keep my economy numbers at 7.5 L/100km or lower

5-speed shiftable automatic FWD
It gets 29mpg highway if you keep it at 70mph. Just completed 700 mile weekend trip with extended 85-90mph speeds, averaging 26.5mpg. Avg 22/23 in the city. Can run regular with only slight performance degrade. What other 260hp car gets this mileage?

Great for power avaialable
2003 4dr Sedan turbocharged 185hp 2.3L I4
5-speed manual FWD
Excellent for such a large and powerful car. I consistently get about 28 mpg in mixed driving, normally with a good share of very congested urban driving in the mix.
2003 4dr Sedan turbocharged 185hp 2.3L I4
5-speed shiftable automatic FWD
For a car with this much power, the mileage is great. Even with a roof rack and some heavy feet, it gets 22+ mpg in mixed driving. Very rare for a car with this kind of performance.
2002 4dr Sedan turbocharged 250hp 2.3L I4
5-speed automatic FWD
Hard acceleration and high speed passes still return 22-23 mpg. Easy driving, 29-30 mpg. The 250 hp 4 cylinder is very responsive with minimal turbo lag.

I had hoped for better economy from 2.3L, but it is really really really hard not to go like a bat out of hell with all of the available power!

The hotter running turbo-charged engine requires mid and / or high test.
