A member from Ohio, United States Best Reason to Buy the Saab 9-3: Powertrain performance There is a reason modern luxury and performance car manfacturers like BMW are abandoning their 6 cyclinder naturally aspirated powerplants and moving to turbocharged 4 cylinder motors. The reason is the unparalleled performance with economy and that these engines afford. They are easy to maintain and work on too. The turbocharger increases volumetric efficiency enabling them to produce greater than 100 hp per litre of displacement. As well, Saab's Trionic 8 engine management system makes them not just powerful, but reliable. Combined with a manual 6 speed transmission, these cars provide an exhilarating and economical driving experience. Best Reason Not to Buy the Saab 9-3: Dealership practices Unfortunately poor management and zero marketing strategy on the part of GM doomed this venerable marque to extinction. Accordingly, dealer support has begun to evaporate and repair parts can be difficult to obtain in a timely manner. Warranty service is unpredictable and dealer servicing is unenthusiastic in general. Other Reasons to Buy the Saab 9-3: Exterior styling, Fuel economy, Reliability & durability, Past personal experience This member owns or leases the reviewed vehicle. read full review |

A member from Arizona, United States Best Reason to Buy the Saab 9-3: Exterior styling Great styling, looks great and modern. I love the headlights at night, they have a blue colored light strip on top giving it a distinct look at night. The grille and hood lines flow beautifully to the rear of the car. Great car if you want to stand out. Best Reason Not to Buy the Saab 9-3: Handling The standard suspension is really lacking in reducing body roll. Steering is quick enough, and feedback is sufficient, but on the light side. Torque steer is minimal. Other Reasons to Buy the Saab 9-3: Powertrain performance, Handling, Quietness, Reliability & durability Other Reasons Not to Buy the Saab 9-3: Front seat support & comfort, Audio & nav systems, Insurance & depreciation This member owns or leases the reviewed vehicle. read full review |

Handles extremly well in the snow. Best Reason Not to Buy the Saab 9-3: Reliability & durability Creeky interrior parts, I have picked my car apart before the warranty ended.
