The 9-2X has had no need for repairs and runs well. The 9-2X is essentially a Subaru Impreza which has a great reliability record as well. Strong and reliable motor and drivetrain.

Subaru who really is the manufacturer of the car has proven that the WRX hits the balance of fun and reliability.

I had a old 1988 3 door Subaru standard, got 300k+ punishing miles out of it before a head gasket blew. replaced the gasket and it kept right on. This new Saabaru has 61k miles and nothing has broken yet.

Never needed to do anything but normal maintainence. Starts every day and hums along without protest. Paint sucks though and my Saab decal on the front has lost its color.
