LOVE to drive it! A member from New York, United States Best Reason to Buy the Porsche Boxster: Handling The Boxster's handling is simply remarkable. Nimble, agile, quick, and superbly balanced. I've driven lots of sports cars and "sporty cars," but nothing compares. When we were shopping almost 6 yrs ago, we test drove a BMW Z4 and the Boxster on the same afternoon. My wife and I were sold on the Boxster immediately. Compared with the Boxster, the Z4 felt heavy and sluggish. Best Reason Not to Buy the Porsche Boxster: Quietness This is both a con and a pro. It isn't a quiet car such as you'd expect from Cadillac. Its soft top doesn't shield out road noise when it's up, and certainly not when it's down. But, oh boy, that engine sound -- sweet! I have driven so many faster and more serious sports cars, but none had the sharp handling of the Boxster. Because of this, it was the most fun car I have driven. Best Reason Not to Buy the Porsche Boxster: Front seat room Because of the steering wheel that you cannot Tilt, if you are tall, your knees might accidentally turn on the cruise control button located behind the steering wheel. Mid engine, perfect balance, predictable under any conditions including snow & ice. Best Reason Not to Buy the Porsche Boxster: Ride smoothness If you want a cushy ride, don't buy this car. It's a sports car first and everything else is secondary.
