Best Reason Not to Buy the Pontiac Vibe: Fuel economy Mediocre fuel economy. Average 8.5L/100KM (27MPG) with range over 5 years from 6.5L (36MPG) to 9.5L (24MPG). Not bad compared to SUV but not as good as hoped. Total repair cost $65, heater box door motor. Best Reason Not to Buy the Pontiac Vibe: Audio & nav systems Nav system was primitive. Junked it for Sirius Radio head unit. Could use better speakers. I was told by the dealer that they had a 100 something point inspection which apparently didn't include the brakes. The Vibe had good brakes.
