A member from Texas, United States Best Reason to Buy the Nissan Frontier: Exterior styling Handsome, masculine styling without going "over the top" My wife and my mother both liked the way it looked, and so do I. Looks good in silver. Best Reason Not to Buy the Nissan Frontier: Fuel economy Well, the EPA ratings are 15 city 20 Highway. The salesman I dealt with says it is easy to get 20 Highway, and I am not an aggressive driver. The V6 is geared low enough that it does 1800 rpm at 60MPH, so my light foot will help here. Looks like a work truck. Steering wheel controls are not lit at night. Best Reason Not to Buy the Nissan Frontier: Interior styling Bland interior, made for a work truck. Not a bad thing, but pales in comparison to other vehicles. Feels dated. Get the full options with roof racks as this looks great. Toyota only had dibs on the hood and that is where it all ends. They are 10 years behind otherise. Best Reason Not to Buy the Nissan Frontier: Fuel economy Overrated to what is identified. I know it is a truck but the mileage is far from what Nissan claims. After 3 years of ownership, never a problem with the powertrain.
