What Our Members Are Saying about the Price of the the Mercury Mariner
| Price of the Mercury Mariner: Cons | ||
| Year | Body/Powertrain | Comment |
| 2008 | 4dr SUV 133-horsepower 2.3L I4 Hybrid CVT AWD | Truck was not cheap, no choices to delete options, dealer did not negotiate, and the only way to get below MSRP was by using CostCo discount buying service. Many dealers charging $2K-$3K market fees because of demand. Demand far exceeds supply. |
| 2006 | 4dr SUV 133-horsepower 2.3L I4 Hybrid CVT AWD | Price was too high for me to consider, especially in the hybrid configuration. |
What Our Members Are Saying about the Price of the the Honda Pilot
| Price of the Honda Pilot: Pros | ||
| Year | Body/Powertrain | Comment |
| 2009 | 4dr SUV 250-horsepower 3.5L V6 5-speed automatic FWD | I was able to negotiate a very reasonable price on this pilot. This made the payments very reasonable compared to many comperable SUVs. |
| 2008 | 4dr SUV 244-horsepower 3.5L V6 5-speed automatic AWD | with the knee jerk reaction against SUVs in US made many SUVs affordable. Pilot was unfairly clubbed clubbed with all the gas guzzlers and that made some very good deals possible. |
| 2007 | 4dr SUV 244-horsepower 3.5L V6 5-speed automatic AWD | I paid about $2,000.00 less for the Pilot than a comparably equipped Highlander. |
| 2005 | 4dr SUV 255-horsepower 3.5L V6 5-speed automatic AWD | WE BOUGHT IT USED AND GOT A GREAT DEAL. |
| Price of the Honda Pilot: Cons | ||

| 2010 | 4dr SUV 250-horsepower 3.5L V6 5-speed automatic AWD | How it is so much more expensive than in the US |
| 2009 | 4dr SUV 250-horsepower 3.5L V6 5-speed automatic FWD | Next size up from Rav4/CRV in Honda lineup and was considerably more expensive than Toyota Highlander. |
| 2008 | 4dr SUV 244-horsepower 3.5L V6 5-speed automatic AWD | Too high; not worth the money. |
| 2008 | 4dr SUV 244-horsepower 3.5L V6 5-speed automatic AWD | High price |
| 2006 | 4dr SUV 244-horsepower 3.5L V6 w/DoD 5-speed automatic FWD | Too high. |

| 2008 | 4dr SUV 244-horsepower 3.5L V6 w/DoD 5-speed automatic FWD |
Typical Honda build where things fit like they should: small or no gaps, controls well engineered, you get quality usually found a notch or two higher in cost class. |

Just way too many creeks and rattles. Everything shakes and shimmies. I went through the car wash and the rear hatch filled up with water and had to be drained. The weather stripping and plastic body pieces between front window and hood are horrid. |
| 2010 | 4dr SUV 250-horsepower 3.5L V6 5-speed automatic AWD |
Very plastic, large dash. could have used some aluminum. Not up to snuff for Hondas most expensive vechical ( Touring) |
| 2004 | 0 | We love our Honda pilot but after having it out in the rain and getting a large puddle of water at your feet from poor workmanship and sealing. We will not be buying another Honda because the dealers refuse to rectify the faulty workmanship. Hundreds of other people have the same issue as seen on all message boards on this problem. All it would take is for honda to take the fender off and seal seams and holes left open in assembly. I plan to do it myself because they want to charge you 300 for repair. Should have been a recall on this issue due to the fact mold and mildew can build up and cause medical issues down the road if left too long. And for the amount of people with this same issue. |
