The seats are leather/vinyl (I think leather, but not sure) with center punched suede allowing some air circulation. A member from Idaho, United States Best Reason to Buy the Mercury Mariner: Exterior styling The exterior is very SUV but has many nice touches with the silver/chrome waterfall grill and tail-lights in brushed/chrome silver. Many small touches. It is the best looking of the Mariner/Escape/Tribute family. Much more upscale looking.
