| 2009 | 4dr SUV 240-horsepower 3.0L V6 6-speed automatic FWD |
Coming from a Trailblazer, we like the average of 21-22 MPG in mixed driving, as were used to about 17 MPG. Fuel economy climbs toward the rated 26 MPG the more highway driving we do. |

Has been very good and getting better |
| 2007 | 4dr SUV 200-horsepower 3.0L V6 4-speed automatic AWD |
For the first almost three years after we got the car, it gave 21+ mpg in town & 24+ mpg on the road. |
| 2005 | 4dr SUV 153-horsepower 2.3L I4 4-speed automatic AWD |
For an SUV with a 4cyl and 4wd I get avg of 22 MPG mixed city and highway. I usually get 23-26 on freeway only. This is good. |

For some reason when new Michelin All Terrain tires with Nitrogen air replaced the Champions from the factory, it plummeted to 17 & 20 mpg. No explanation from Michelin, Costco or Ford/Mercury - they have no idea why. |
