A member from New York, United States Best Reason to Buy the Mazda CX-7: Driving position & visibility excellent visibility/ high position. Love the raked windshield. Seat is very comfortable but it could be more snug to avoid body roll. Best Reason Not to Buy the Mazda CX-7: Powertrain performance good size engine but poor engine management computer as turbo lags when push hard. premature wear of belts, pulleys, fuel injection and seals in engine, Turbo requires maintenance and oil is burnt to a crisp in the engine due to design flaws that Mazda is aware of. Poor engine design for the turbo engine. Car is no longer produced in the USA. A member from Ontario, Canada Best Reason to Buy the Mazda CX-7: Powertrain performance Having had two Saabs previously I was interested in the 2.3L turbo engine. Especially when it was mentioned in some reviews that it was tuned for more torque. The way this drives at speed reminds me of the Saabs and makes for effortless highway driving. I have got this car for more 2years and its appearance is still interesting to me.
