| Price of the Chevrolet Tahoe: Cons | ||
| Year | Body/Powertrain | Comment |
| 2007 | 4dr SUV 320-horsepower 5.3L V8 4-speed automatic 4WD w/low range | The Tahoe is simply priced $10,000+ more than the Aspen, yet I believe I would find both as useful and enjoyable as the other. |
| 2005 | 4dr SUV, ext. 295-horsepower 5.3L V8 4-speed automatic 4WD w/low range | With a sticker price of $45K, the price for this or any vehicle that can act as a tow vehicle may be beyond the reach of most and especially the large family for which the vehicle would be most functional. |

What Our Members Are Saying about Lincoln Navigator Materials and Workmanship
| Materials and Workmanship of the Lincoln Navigator: Cons | ||
| Year | Body/Powertrain | Comment |
| 2005 | 4dr SUV 300-horsepower 5.4L V8 6-speed automatic RWD |
The seating material is excellent, but the silver-painted plastic that covers most of the forward-facing dash and control console is awful. |
What Our Members Are Saying about Chevrolet Tahoe Materials and Workmanship
| Materials and Workmanship of the Chevrolet Tahoe: Cons | ||
| Year | Body/Powertrain | Comment |
| 2008 | 4dr SUV 320-horsepower 5.3L V8 4-speed automatic RWD |
From the minute we drove it off the lot the glove box had a rattle! It was due to the poor fit and finish and second rate materials the car was made of. The paint stone chipped very easily. The suspension was loaded with creaks and rattles. |
| 2007 | 4dr SUV 320-horsepower 5.3L V8 4-speed automatic RWD |
feels tinny, exterior hardware fails easily |
| 2002 | 4dr SUV, ext. 275-horsepower 4.8L V8 4-speed automatic RWD |
Upholstery on back of seats is carpet-like and frays over time, giving an ugly, matted/haggard appearance. Lever on rear split bench seat required maintenance after owning the vehicle a very short time. |
