Best Reason Not to Buy the Kia Rondo: Fuel economy Slightly higher mpg than listed but fair for V6 engine. A member from Michigan, United States Best Reason to Buy the Kia Rondo: Materials & workmanship Its fit and finish of sheet metal is excellent and doors close with safe door like solid thud! Best Reason Not to Buy the Kia Rondo: Quietness Too much tire and suspension noise and use of "H Grade" tires which are good for handling but a lot rougher ride and tire noise excess than regular all season types. Rather stiff springs which is good for a sports car which a Rondo is not! EX trim adds heated seats and an attractive leather interior in gray, black, or beige. For its price, hard to find all of these features. Best Reason Not to Buy the Kia Rondo: Fuel economy Kia claims 18 city, 26 highway for the V6 and slightly higher for the V4. Not particularly impressive numbers. This forces Kia to use significant incentives - several thousand dollars discount, and 0% financing are common. Best Reason Not to Buy the Kia Rondo: Quietness Driver side window noise is terrible and KIA does not appear willing to fix. Not everybody has this issue though so this problem is not on every car. A member from Alberta, Canada Best Reason Not to Buy the Kia Rondo: Front seat support & comfort It is difficult to find a comfortable driving position in the manual seat because the seat tilts forward as it lifts up. Lumbar support is poor an the steering wheel is too far away.
