General NotesModels and statistics marked with an asterisk (*) have very low sample sizes. These results, visible only to logged-in members, provide only a rough estimate of car reliability.Any result under 20 repair trips per 100 cars is likely a result of the small sample size, and should be expected to increase to 20 or so in future updates.
New models often start out with high repair rates, and then improve as the manufacturer identifies and addresses common problems. MethodologyOnly successfully completed repairs are currently included in the analysis. Routine maintenance, most wear items, recalls, and problems fixed with just a reflash or warning light reset are not included.

| Mar | 2011 | 113000 | 400 | Fixed transmission pan seal leak by replacing pan and gasket. Also changed fluid, not a trivial process as the ZF6HP26 has no fill tube. It has to be pressure filled or filled while running. Transmission fault related to leak. Reset of fault and re-adaptation of the transmission. Dealer claimed needed new transmission, $6,200. Spent 30 hours researching ZF6HP26, learn only needed reset to adaptation mode. Also paid dealer and trans shop $245. |
| Sep | 2012 | 137000 | 220 | Windshield washer did not work. Flushed system. Damaged windshield washer pump during this repair trip, replaced in second trip. Intermittent failure of adaptive cruise control, "cruise control not available" warning light. They quoted $8,500 in parts and 4 hours of labor so I opted out. I have a salvage part and will be attempting this repair myself for a parts cost of $460. All four side marker lights had burned out and replacement required special tools. During replacement 3 of the four fixtures were broken by the shop and had to be replaced during the second trip. |
| Dec | 2012 | 139000 | 285 | Developed a lower engine oil pan gasket leak. Had shop (Sun Auto, Georgetown, TX) replace lower pan gasket. Also, shop replaced Z transmission pan bolts as the factory bolts striped out from a prior gasket replacement. Good shop & price. |
