Best Reason to Buy the Honda Element: Cargo capacity & towing
Darned near perfect vehicle for one or two people with bicycles and dogs.

Best Reason Not to Buy the Honda Element: Fuel economy
Sure wish I could get 30 MPG in this thing instead of 20 (though I have gotten 26 on long trips as long as I don't let my wife drive)

Best Reason to Buy the Honda Element: Cargo capacity & towing
It has great cargo capacity. Have taken lawn mower in for repair in it. Hauled telescopes, chipper, bags of mulch, a big screen tv.

Best Reason Not to Buy the Honda Element: Quietness
The interior is rather noisy. It is hard to carry on a conversation with someone, especially on the interstate, wind noise, tire noise.

Other Reasons to Buy the Honda Element: Color choices, Reliability & durability, Exterior styling

Best Reason to Buy the Honda Element: Cargo capacity & towing
Cargo capacity is huge with the rear seats folded against the sides, bigger yet with them removed. Can handle two bicycles standing up. Great for dogs, all-purpose hauling, camping.

Best Reason Not to Buy the Honda Element: Rear seat room & comfort
Seats are OK, bud the ride back there is pretty bouncy.

Best Reason to Buy the Honda Element: Cargo capacity & towing
Incredibly flexible, and easy to expand space. Interior space - both with and without the rear seats - is terrific for its size.

Best Reason to Buy the Honda Element: Cargo capacity & towing
The Element has amazing cargo-carrying ability. The fold-away (and removable) seats, low floor, and easy access make it easy to load and unload. It will swallow a huge amount of stuff with ease.

Best Reason to Buy the Honda Element: Reliability & durability
Currently have 78K miles with only one minor repair which was a replaced shock absorber.

Best Reason Not to Buy the Honda Element: Quietness
The boxy style is not conducive to a quiet ride. Crosswinds knock the car around quite a bit.
