Dec 2009 150000 30 Upper coolant outlet hose(Y-shaped housing) cracked and was leaking. Dealer lists part at ~$70, got used from junkyard for $5. Coolant flush/fill at time of repair (not completely necessary, but convenient)

Mar 2010 109000 200 Had to have the front cylinder head replaced. First, it was thought it was the spark plug coil, but problem continued. Found to be a burnt head on the front part of the engine. I have a Ford warranty that paid $3,000 of it. 108,000 miles
Sep 2010 113000 125 Driving and the low A/F light goes on. Week before A/F was completely full. I open the hood A/F overflow empty. Lid was tight. Car checked and cannot duplicate. Replaced A/F and has not leaked. Extra A/F carried trunk from now on.
Oct 2010 113500 75 The rear control arms are worn and need to be replaced. I have been working with Ford ESP to replace, but this has been a difficult task. They are covered, but Ford says they are not.
Dec 2010 115000 50 Control arms replaced under ESP. Not an easy task ended up taking 2 months to get Ford to pay under the ESP. Car works much better now.
Feb 2011 116000 100 Failed Tensioner to Timing Chain leaving oil pressure very low.  Also, failed sway bar links in front end. Ticking sound kept happening after starting. After much searching and a lot of looking the repair person found the tensioner to the timing chain failing. Could have failed at any time. Many problems with this car.
Mar 2011 118000 200 Clamp that hold the exhaust pipe broke. Interior kept smelling like exhaust and people complained they felt "sick" when driving in the vehicle. Repaired. Kept hearing a screaming sound when turning the car off. Also, there was a burning plastic smell from the vehicle. First it was the harmonic balancer, then the pulley. Found out it was the other timing chain tensioner. Engine scares me!
May 2011 119500 0 Engine light on. It is possibly a coil on plug, but not for sure. Changed around plugs and have it back to see if problem comes back. Car shakes and RPM's drop really low. Car is to jerk more when accelerating.
Jul 2011 121000 450 Car shakes and stutters. Clunks when it is put in reverse. Dealer says nothing wrong car did not do this a few months ago. Very frustrating!

Oct 2010 109740 1200 Replaced left lower balljoint Transmission warning light came on. Code P0741, something to do with the torque converter. Decided not to fix, since repair would be expensive and the car shows no symptoms of anything being wrong with the transmission.
Nov 2010 109740 400 After replacing interior filter earlier, plastic cowl vent screen did not sit flush with the windshield, causing a water leak into the interior. Also fixed a plugged up A/C hose at the same time, as shop discovered that while fixing cowl. Coolant reservoir was leaking, replaced with a new, aftermarket reservoir and had coolant flushed and changed.
Dec 2010 109740 0 Heater core was not working properly/clogged. Exhaust system was leaking slightly at the rear muffler. Transmission light still on when sold, codes indicate failing torque converter, but still not noticeable otherwise.
