This truck does everything most buyers need. It accelerates to 60 in arond 7 seconds, so there is no fear of pulling out in traffic, and the AWD computer control works excellent in snow and wet roads Best Reason Not to Buy the Ford Explorer Sport Trac: Fuel economy highway mileage is very good, better than my lighter V6 Ranger; 21mpg on the highway @ 75mph on flat road. City, with the remote start in winter, with the AWD kicking in, and lead foot acceleration nets me 13mpg.
