2013 Fusion Hybrid is way better than Camry A member from Minnesota, United States Compared to 2013 Ford Fusion (Silver) Best Reason to Buy the Ford Fusion: Front seat support & comfort Being 6' 3" it can be hard to find a car where I have sufficient legroom & headroom. In the Fusion Hybrid there was lots of space, even with a sunroof. There are also padded surfaces where my left knee rests against the door and where my right leg rests against the center console. The Camry Hybrid was not comfortable. The doors are hard plastic and there was no soft place to rest my knee. The center console was also hard plastic. Best Reason Not to Buy the Ford Fusion: Cargo capacity & towing The trunk is a odd shape because of the hybrid batteries. It is very deep but not very tall. This is somewhat made up for by the fact that the rear seats fold down. The Camry does not offer rear folding seats but does have a more useful trunk space for times that you're using just the trunk space without folding down seats. One Beautiful Well Made Car A member from New York, United States Compared to 2013 Ford Fusion (Silver) Best Reason to Buy the Ford Fusion: Exterior styling This is a beautiful car especially from the front! That alone is why I brought it. The majority of cars in the so called mid size family sedan class don't hold a candle to it. To me the exterior fit & finish is on par with its foreign competition. Best Reason Not to Buy the Ford Fusion: Feature availability I don't like that I can't get leather/heated seats & fog lamp package with the standard 2.5L engine. Other Reasons to Buy the Ford Fusion: Fuel economy, Controls and instruments, Powertrain performance, Handling This member owns or leases the reviewed vehicle. read full review |

Really like it A member from Pennsylvania, United States Compared to 2013 Ford Fusion (Silver) Best Reason to Buy the Ford Fusion: Ride smoothness Drove a 2013 Ford Fusion, along with Kia Optima, Hyundai Sonata, and Honda Accord. Had also driven Chevy Camaro. All had caught my eye, and wanted to see what they were like to drive. Not planning to trade my 2011 Camry Base. Liked the Camaro, and Fusion. Wanted to drive the Fusion again, so did, and got a good deal, so bought one. S, like it. 18.5mpg around town, but not unhappy. 30's on back roads, and highway. Camaro a little more expensive. Maybe next time. Really like it. Hope it's reliable. Also liked Kia Optima. A bit of oversteer, otherwise I'd have considered buying one. Best Reason Not to Buy the Ford Fusion: Fuel economy 18.5mpg, vs 22mpg rated city driving. Not disatisfied. Really like the car, so don't care. Love my Fusion! A member from Florida, United States Compared to 2013 Ford Fusion (Silver) Best Reason to Buy the Ford Fusion: Quietness Overall the car is significantly quieter than similar midsize cars. Road isolation is excellent without removing road feel altogether. Best Reason Not to Buy the Ford Fusion: Fuel economy My primary complaint with the vehicle as a whole definitely comes down to fuel economy. I've owned several other vehicles that should generally be less economical that actually are almost the same. My primary example is one of my previous cars, a supercharged 1996 Buick Park Avenue. Overall average fuel economy with that Buick was about 20, with 70% city driving. Overall fuel economy with my V6 3.0 Fusion is...about 20 with the same driving conditions. Its to be noted that car's posted fuel economy figures for highway driving aren't really attainable. 240 HP in a midsize car isn't bad...but I sometimes wish I'd gotten the 4 cylinder. A member from Oklahoma, United States Compared to 2013 Ford Fusion (Silver) Best Reason to Buy the Ford Fusion: Fuel economy The Fusion Hybrid when driven as outlined in the owner’s manual rewards you with the best in class fuel economy which is far above the advertized mileage for the car. The car has great power which is on par with the V6 version of the same car. A member from California, United States Compared to 2013 Ford Fusion (Silver) Best Reason to Buy the Ford Fusion: Exterior styling clean, smooth lines. Best Reason Not to Buy the Ford Fusion: Powertrain performance Awkward shifting transmission in manual mode as well as auto, especially when going from 2d to third (tends to pop into neutral as the revs pick up in second, then jumps into third); too slow to shift between gears, too quick to select first gear. Other Reasons to Buy the Ford Fusion: Interior styling, Handling, Ride smoothness, Controls and instruments Other Reasons Not to Buy the Ford Fusion: Fuel economy, Materials & workmanship This member used to own or lease the reviewed vehicle. read full review |

A member from Minnesota, United States Compared to 2013 Ford Fusion (Silver) Best Reason to Buy the Ford Fusion: Fuel economy Good car for traveling around the city in which I live Best Reason Not to Buy the Ford Fusion: Materials & workmanship After an alignment when replacing tires, the mechanic showed me that the alingment A bar to move tire from front to back does not adjust, would need an aftermarket piece to fix if bad tire wear.
