Nov 2007 12000 0 Common problem with Explorers with 6 speed transmission where transmission downshifts from 2 to 1 harsh when coming to a stop. Service bulleting was issued in November that reprogrammed the transmission and e-learned new shift strategy.

May 2010 37500 50 Brake shift interlock working intermittently. You needed to jiggle the shifter, push the shift button in several times etc. to get the car to shift out of park. Turned out to be a sensor on the shifter. Shifter was replaced.
