A member from Texas, United States Best Reason to Buy the Dodge Dakota: Interior styling Fit and finish are clean and appear very well designed. I had my truck for 4 years and it was used quite hard and the interior held up perfectly, not a snag or tear in the fabric. The floor mat did tear out the little hook that holds it in place though. Best Reason Not to Buy the Dodge Dakota: Fuel economy HORRIBLE. EPA rated for 17city 20hwy but due to transmission problem, I doubt I exceeded 20mpg on most occasions.
