2007 4dr Hatch 158-horsepower 2.0L I4
CVT FWD
I have put 57,000 miles on this car with only a few minor issues after delivery during the first 3,000 miles. No problems since. Most reliable car I have ever owed.
2007 4dr Hatch 158-horsepower 2.0L I4
CVT FWD
Only have about 8,000 miles on it, but so far so good! Only problem was failure start due to a defective Astro Start unit which drained the battery.
Reliability and Durability of the Dodge Caliber: Cons
YearBody/PowertrainComment
2007 4dr Hatch 158-horsepower 2.0L I4
CVT FWD
I was concerned that the car might have reliability issues, partly because it was a new model.
2007 4dr Hatch 158-horsepower 2.0L I4
CVT FWD
Had to replace brakes and rotors at 33,000 miles. Since day 1, mysterious water leak makes drip sound after rain. Floors in front and back on passenger side often damp or wet and get smelly. Been told it would take extensive testing to find problem.
2007 4dr Hatch 172-horsepower 2.4L I4
6-speed shiftable CVT AWD
The ball joints and lower control arms should not be junk at 45K miles. Brakes AND rotors before 30k?
2007 4dr Hatch 158-horsepower 2.0L I4
CVT FWD
Already had a couple of problems with this car in the first year that required dealer maintenance.
