For a car that weights over 3100 lbs and has this much room inside, the 22-24 mpg is not bad. |
| 2006 | 4dr Wagon 150-horsepower 2.4L I4 5-speed manual FWD |
Very good. My personal commuter. |
| 2004 | 4dr Wagon turbocharged 220hp 2.4L I4 4-speed shiftable automatic FWD |
Good compromize between performance and fuel economy, with most cars the gas milage is proportional to the right foot. |
| 2002 | 4dr Wagon 150-horsepower 2.4L I4 4-speed automatic FWD |
the cruiser only sips never guzzles, i can go a week on a tank of gas. thankfully, prices are back to normal. |

| 2009 | 4dr Wagon 150-horsepower 2.4L I4 4-speed automatic FWD |
For size of vehicle, fuel economy should be 40% better. |
| 2008 | 4dr Wagon 150-horsepower 2.4L I4 4-speed automatic FWD |
For a 4 cyl engine it really show get a little better MPG. |
| 2007 | 2dr Convertible turbocharged 180hp 2.4L I4 4-speed automatic FWD |
It averages around 15 in town and no better than 20 highway. This is way behind the curve of other more modern small cars. |
| 2006 | 4dr Wagon 150-horsepower 2.4L I4 4-speed automatic FWD |
This thing had a 4 cylinder but sucked fuel like a big V-6 or larger. Is this the result of cinder-block like aerodynamics? |
| 2005 | 4dr Wagon 150-horsepower 2.4L I4 5-speed manual FWD |
Manual transmission with standard 4 cylender engine averages 25 mpg. Power is just adequate. |
| 2004 | 4dr Wagon 150-horsepower 2.4L I4 5-speed manual FWD |
Poorer than I expected, not much better than my Porsche! |
| 2003 | 4dr Wagon turbocharged 215hp 2.4L I4 4-speed shiftable automatic FWD |
I have a 91 8 cylinder truck that gets better gas mileage |
| 2003 | 4dr Wagon 150-horsepower 2.4L I4 4-speed automatic FWD |
Poor highway fuel economy, compared to Vibe. Poor city fuel economy, compared to Vibe. |
| 2002 | 4dr Wagon 150-horsepower 2.4L I4 4-speed automatic FWD |
19 MPG for a fairly small, four-cylinder engine is barely acceptable. No advances in engine technology here. At least, none from the last 20 years. When driven gently, garaged and driven about 20 miles round trip per day (10% highway): 20 MPG. :-( |
| 2002 | 4dr Wagon 150-horsepower 2.4L I4 4-speed automatic FWD |
19 MPG on average is just pathetic for a four-cylinder. |
