| Price of the Chevrolet Uplander: Pros | ||
| Year | Body/Powertrain | Comment |
| 2008 | 4dr Minivan, ext. 240-horsepower 3.9L V6 4-speed automatic FWD | We bought our '08 Uplander in Jan. '09. It was 9 months old, with 28,000 miles, and it had dropped $14,000 from new MSRP, from $26,000 to $12,000. |
| 2005 | 4dr Minivan, ext. 200-horsepower 3.5L V6 4-speed automatic FWD | It was the only van that we were able to get in our price range that also met our other criteria (mostly back seat room, ease of car seat installation) |

| Price of the Chrysler 300: Pros | ||
| Year | Body/Powertrain | Comment |
| 2009 | 4dr Sedan 250-horsepower 3.5L V6 4-speed automatic RWD | Heavy discount from near-$40K sticker price as one might expect from a year-old "new" car still in dealer inventory. This fact, coupled with numerous factory incentives and low APR financing cinched the deal. In short, I bought $40K car for $30K. |
| 2008 | 4dr Sedan 250-horsepower 3.5L V6 4-speed automatic RWD | With all the discounts available, the price was great. |
| 2008 | 4dr Sedan 178-horsepower 2.7L V6 4-speed automatic RWD | Low overall |
| 2006 | 4dr Sedan 340-horsepower 5.7L V8 5-speed shiftable automatic RWD | Truly one of the best cars for the price. I purchased it when Mercedes owned Chrysler, so I got Mercedes-quality parts within a gorgeous American-designed body. |

What Our Members Are Saying about Chevrolet Uplander Materials and Workmanship

| Year | Body/Powertrain | Comment |
| 2008 | 4dr Minivan, ext. 240-horsepower 3.9L V6 4-speed automatic FWD |
The dashboard is hard, dog-dish-like plastic. The carpet stains easily. The interior bits fall off and pull apart. The rear vents come out of the ceiling. It's slapped together. You can tell this was the last minivan GM was going to build, and that they didn't care when building it. |
| 2007 | 4dr Minivan 240-horsepower 3.9L V6 4-speed automatic FWD |
Many rattles in this vehicle. |
| 2007 | 4dr Minivan 240-horsepower 3.9L V6 4-speed automatic FWD |
Alot of plastic used on the interior, makes it feel uninviting |

| 2008 | 4dr Sedan 250-horsepower 3.5L V6 4-speed automatic RWD |
The paint on the outside of the car scratches very easily. The dashboard has mis-aligned panels and there are a number of rattles and clunks coming from inside the dashboard. |
| 2005 | 4dr Sedan 340-horsepower 5.7L V8 5-speed shiftable automatic RWD |
Everything looks ok, but for a car as expensive as this, I expect better than the aforementioned speaker problems. I will say the paint still looks great after 4 years, and the car is not garaged. |
