better than my envoy but not as good as advertised even with eco mode on 100% of the time and light foot, timing lights, etc. |
| 2010 | 4dr SUV 182-horsepower 2.4L I4 6-speed shiftable automatic FWD |
Excellent fuel economy with 4 cyl.; I get the EPA numbers. |
| 2010 | 4dr SUV 182-horsepower 2.4L I4 6-speed shiftable automatic FWD |
I got the 4 cyl/FWD Equinox. It gets at or better than the city EPA estimate of 22mpg, typically getting 23-24mpg without AC, 22 with AC on. On the freeway, get 31-32mpg without AC, 29-30 with AC. |
| 2010 | 4dr SUV 182-horsepower 2.4L I4 6-speed shiftable automatic FWD |
Averaging 27 all around and 30+ on the hwy. With only 550 miles its only going to get better. 4cyl ia an awesome motor.. |
| 2010 | 4dr SUV 182-horsepower 2.4L I4 6-speed shiftable automatic FWD |
Best in class (crossover SUV), without sacrificing performance. |

Very good EPA numbers |
| 2008 | 4dr SUV 185-horsepower 3.4L V6 5-speed automatic FWD |
Fuel economy is about 24mpg with a 50/50 mix of city and highway. Long trips result in about 28 mpg. |
| 2006 | 4dr SUV 185-horsepower 3.4L V6 5-speed automatic FWD |
high 20s on the road from a very large, small crossover awd suv |

| 2011 | 4dr SUV 182-horsepower 2.4L I4 6-speed shiftable automatic AWD |
Rated at 29 mpg but only recorded an average of 21 to 22 mpg actual milage on a 750 mile round trip. |
| 2011 | 4dr SUV 182-horsepower 2.4L I4 6-speed shiftable automatic FWD |
Not as advertised - trying to do all the right things (timing lights, light foot, no idling, tire pressure, etc.) but lower than what i thought i would get when compared to 17.6 for an envoy (15 city/ 21 hwy) with 200,000 miles and bad driving habits. |
| 2006 | 4dr SUV 185-horsepower 3.4L V6 5-speed automatic FWD |
Okay, there was one thing i liked about the Equinox - it got decent mileage - i averaged around 23.5 overall. Mostly highway driving at 60-70 mph. |
| 2005 | 4dr SUV 185-horsepower 3.4L V6 5-speed automatic AWD |
20 mile to the gallon may be 21 on a good day but thats it. not great for a 185 hp v6 gm could do a lot better |
| 2005 | 4dr SUV 185-horsepower 3.4L V6 5-speed automatic FWD |
when I bought this 18 MPG was ok but now with the price of fuel it is not!!! |
| 2005 | 4dr SUV 185-horsepower 3.4L V6 5-speed automatic FWD |
Mileage poorer than my extended wheel base Montana van which had a similar power train and only a 4 speed transmission. |

Fuel economy is terrible if you accelerate at any decent pace. |
