Apr	2008		800	Steering a little "loose". Dealer found bad front suspension "carrier" assy (brake and wheel mount to this), plus bad inner tie rod end. Replaced both, now much better steering.
Jul	2008		1200	Rattle in exhaust, engine hunts when shifts out of overdrive, but not into 3rd gear. Had Exhaust system replaced, cleaned injectors. Still hunts a lot out of overdrive. Hunting not cured. Some say this is a bad solenoid in tranny.
Jan	2010		300	Engine "misses" cold at 60-70mph. Dealer said coil pack towers slightly rusted, some injectors "slow". Cleaned coil towers and ran injector cleaner. Now ok.
Oct	2010		700	Wheel bearing assy in right front replaced. The left front had been replaced at 188,000 miles. Also, did the front brakes. Dealer says rear valve cover seal leaking.
Feb	2012		1000	Intake manifold leaking coolant into oil and out of engine in general. Installed new gasket. No, this is not the plastic, but is the steel gasket. Replaced both valve cover gaskets, while intake manifold off.

Jan	2012		50	Replace both valve cover gaskets, which were leaking, at same time was replacing intake manifold gasket, that was leaking. Replaced both valve cover gaskets, while replacing the instake gasket, since easier to do both as once. Buick 3.8 gaskets leak at high mileage, 248k miles in my case. Original upper radiator hose ruptured at 242,000 miles. Replace both upper and lower hoses, plus replace thermostat.
