A member from California, United States Best Reason to Buy the BMW 5-Series: Powertrain performance V-8--Strong engine, good gearbox. More than enough power for the weight and size of the car. Best Reason Not to Buy the BMW 5-Series: Exterior styling Funky from some angles. Takes a little getting used to. On the other hand, it can be amazingly good-looking and dynamic from the right angle.
