Best Reason Not to Buy the BMW 1-Series: Past personal experience BMWs tend to be less reliable on the longer term (4+ years). A member from Virginia, United States Best Reason to Buy the BMW 1-Series: Powertrain performance Smooth linear power for a turbo vehicle. Tons of torque, easy to modify for additional performance gains. Best Reason Not to Buy the BMW 1-Series: Price or payments The standard features are lacking. Many cars costing half as much have more features than the 1-series. You can get better equipped cars for the same money with Infiniti (G37S) and Audi (TT-S, S4).
